Doctor Slump (Korean: 닥터슬럼프) is an upcoming South Korean television series written by Baek Sun-woo, directed by Oh Hyun-jong, and starring Park Shin-hye, Park Hyung-sik, Yoon Park, and Kong Seong-ha.[4] It is scheduled to premiere on January 27, 2024, and will air on JTBC every Saturday and Sunday at 22:30 (KST).[5] It will also be available for streaming on TVING in South Korea, and on Netflix in selected regions.[6][7]

Synopsis

Doctor Slump is about the growth and love of Yeo Jeong-woo (Park Hyung-sik) and Nam Ha-neul (Park Shin-hye) who had promising prospects, but fell into a slump and quit their jobs as doctors and live in a rooftop room.[2]

Production

The first script reading was held on March 4, 2023, and filming began the same month.[2][16]

On March 14, 2023, Park Hyung-sik, Park Shin-hye, Yoon Park and Kong Seong-ha were confirmed to play various roles in the series, with SLL and HighZium Studio producing it.[17]
