Darryl Longdon (born 8 November 2000) is a footballer who plays as a forward.[1] Born in the United States, he represents Dominica national football team internationally.

Youth

Longdon attended East Stroudsburg High School South in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. In 2017, he was named the All-Eastern Pennsylvania Conference Most Valuable Player in boys' soccer.[2]

Club career

FC Tucson

Longdon made his league debut for the club on 25 July 2020, coming on as a 70th-minute substitute for Josh Coan in a 2-1 away victory over Fort Lauderdale CF.[3]

Springfield Athletic SC

By 2023, Longdon had joined Springfield Athletic SC of the USL League Two.[4]

International career

Longdon received his first call-up to the Dominica national football team in March 2021, and stated that he was "thrilled to be on board" for the team's World Cup qualifying campaign.[5] He made his senior international debut on 24 March 2021 against the Dominican Republic.[6] He scored his first international goal the following year, netting the winner in a 2–1 friendly victory over Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.[7]
