Cherkyokh (Russian: Черкёх; Yakut: Чөркөөх, romanized: Çörkööx) is a rural locality (a selo) and the administrative center of Oktyabrsky Rural Okrug of Tattinsky District in the Sakha Republic, Russia, located 33 kilometers (21 mi) from Ytyk-Kyuyol, the administrative center of the district.[1] Its population as of the 2010 Census was 1,257,[2][3] down from 1,264 recorded during the 2002 Census.[1]
