Charles Hawkes was an Anglican priest in Ireland during the late Eighteenth century.[1]

Hawkes was born at Skekyn [2] in County Roscommon;[3] and educated at Trinity College, Dublin.[4] He was Archdeacon of Killala from 1770 until his death in 1788.[5]
