Karl Fredrik "Charles" Ericksen (1875 – February 23, 1916) was a Norwegian-American wrestler who competed in the 1904 Summer Olympics for the United States.
At the 1904 Olympics, he won a gold medal in the freestyle welterweight category, wrestling on the United States team.[1] In 2012, Norwegian historians found documentation showing that Ericksen did not receive American citizenship until 22 March 1905. The historians thus petitioned to have Ericksen's Olympic gold registered as Norwegian.[2]
