Chah Salem (Persian: چاه سالم, also Romanized as Chāh Sālem; also known as Chāy-e Sālem)[3] is a village in Chah Salem Rural District of the Central District of Omidiyeh County, Khuzestan province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,406 in 454 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,914 people in 659 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,153 people in 807 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
