The Central District of Saravan County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان سراوان) is in Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Saravan.[3]
At the National Census in 2006, its population was 97,055 in 17,549 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 114,112 people in 25,459 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 117,002 inhabitants in 30,710 households.[2]
In January 2019, Nahuk Rural District was separated from the former Jaleq District to join the Central District. The remainder of the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Golshan County.[6]
