Caroline Woodley is a British Labour Party politician who was elected as the directly elected mayor of Hackney in London in a by-election in 2023.

Hackney councillor

Woodley was elected in 2018 to Hackney London Borough Council from the Cazenove ward and was re-elected in 2022.[1][2] She became the cabinet member for families, parks and leisure.[3]

Mayor of Hackney

Woodley was elected Mayor of Hackney in a by-election held on 9 November 2023,[3] becoming the borough's third directly elected mayor following the resignation of her predecessor, Philip Glanville.[4]
