Footnotes / references [1] |
Brownies Inc.[lower-alpha 1] is a Japanese video game developer based in Tokyo.
It was founded in 2012 by Shinichi Kameoka, who is best known for his work on the Mana series. He founded the company after leaving Brownie Brown (now 1-Up Studio), which had recently been restructured to become a development support studio for Nintendo. Kameoka cites wanting more freedom to create original works as his reason for starting Brownies.[2] Kouji Tsuda, a former artist at Brownie Brown, also joined the new company.[3]
Brownies' latest work as of 2023 is Egglia Rebirth, released in 2021 for the Nintendo Switch.
