Brian Robert Kyme (22 June 1935 – 16 April 2020)[3] was an Australian Anglican bishop, National Director of the Australian Board of Missions, and author.
Kyme trained for the priesthood at Ridley College, Melbourne and was ordained in 1958. Later he studied at Edith Cowan University.[4] He served curacies in Malvern and Morwell. He was the Incumbent at St Matthew's Church, Ashburton from 1963 to 1969 and Dean of Geraldton from 1969 to 1974. He was then at Claremont, Western Australia from 1974 and Archdeacon of Stirling, WA from 1977. In 1982 he became Assistant Bishop of Perth,[1] serving until 1999.
From 1993 to 2000 he served as National Director of the Australian Board of Missions.[2]
Kyme died on 16 April 2020 from cancer.[5]
