Boyovut (Uzbek: Boyovut tumani / Боёвут тумани, Russian: Баяутский район, romanized: Bayautsky rayon) is a district of Sirdaryo Region in Uzbekistan. The capital lies at the town Boyovut.[1] It has an area of 520 km2 (200 sq mi)[2] and its population is 131,700 (2021 est.).[3] The district consists of 4 urban-type settlements (Boyovut, Markaz, Bekat, Doʻstlik) and 12 rural communities.[1]
