Bindawa is a Local Government Area in Katsina State, Nigeria. Its headquarters is in the town of Bindawa, at12°40′11″N 7°48′19″E / 12.66972°N 7.80528°E / 12.66972; 7.80528.

It has an area of 398 km2 and a population of 152,356 at the 2006 census.

It has two district heads from Bindawa and Doro: Dan-Yusufan Katsina and Dan-Barhim Katsina.
