Bazargan District (Persian: بخش بازرگان) is in Maku County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Bazargan.[3]

After the 2006 census, Chaybasar-e Shomali Rural District and Bazargan were separated from the Central District in the establishment of Bazargan District.[3]

The National Census in 2011 counted 18,730 people in 4,486 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 19,676 inhabitants in 5,519 households.[2]
