Barciszewo [bart͡ɕiˈʂɛvɔ] (German: Bartelsdorf)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Bartoszyce, within Bartoszyce County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[2] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north-west of Bartoszyce and 57 km (35 mi) north of the regional capital Olsztyn. After World War II the region was divided between Poland and the Soviet Union.
