Arjun Radhakrishnan (born December 22, 1987) is an Indian actor best known for the SonyLIV series Rocket Boys in which he played Dr APJ Abdul Kalam which earned critical acclaim.[1] He starred in the films which include Jhund (2022), Dear Friend (2022), Pada (2022) and Kannur Squad (2023).[2][3][4][5]
Early life and career
Arjun Radhakrishnan was born in Nagercoil, Tamilnadu to a Malayali-Tamil parents and moved to Pune during his childhood. An engineering dropout , he joined Bsc at Ferguson college, Pune. He took up the job at KPMG for two years and later quit the job to pursue acting.[6]
He joined theatre in 2016 after moving to Mumbai in 2011 and made his debut in the independent film Shreelancer released in 2016. He eventually ended up getting his breakthrough role in the web series Rocket Boys (2022) where he played Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. His portrayal in the series was critically acclaimed.[7]
