Apionichthys nattereri is a species of sole in the family Achiridae.[2] It was described by Franz Steindachner in 1876, originally under the genus Solea.[1] It inhabits the Amazon River. It reaches a maximum standard length of 23.4 cm (9.2 in).[2]
Due to a lack of known major threats to the species, A. nattereri is currently ranked as Least Concern by the IUCN redlist.[3]
