Alvir Rural District (Persian: دهستان الوير) is in Kharqan District of Zarandieh County, Markazi province, Iran.
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 3,187 in 1,046 households.[3] There were 2,110 inhabitants in 734 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 3,463 in 1,240 households. The largest of its 20 villages was Alvir, with 578 people.[2]
