Allahabad-e Olya (Persian: اله ابادعليا, also Romanized as Allāhābād-e ‘Olyā; also known as Allāhābād-e Bālā)[3] is a village in, and the former capital of, Howmeh Rural District of the Central District of Shirvan County, North Khorasan province, Iran.[4] The capital of the rural district has been transferred to the village of Amirabad.[5]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 673 in 188 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 611 people in 200 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 454 people in 158 households.[2]
