The 2024 season will be the Kansas City Chiefs' upcoming 55th season in the National Football League, their 65th overall and their twelfth under head coach Andy Reid.

Offseason

All transactions below occurred between the day after the Chiefs' final game of the 2023 season and the first game of the 2024 preseason. The only exception is futures contracts which the Chiefs began being signed after the conclusion of the 2023 regular season.

Futures contracts

Futures contracts are signed beginning with the conclusion of the previous season. They typically consist of players who spent a portion of the previous season on the practice squad of a team.

  • The Chiefs 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round selections will be based on their playoff finish.
  • Exact numbers of the selections from rounds 4–7 will be determined when compensatory selections are awarded at the NFL's annual spring owners' meetings. This may also result in the Chiefs being awarded more draft picks.

Draft trades

  1. The Chiefs traded their 4th round selection in 2023 and a 2024 5th round selection to the Vikings in exchange for a 4th round pick in 2023.[1]
  2. The Chiefs traded a 6th round selection in 2023 to the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for a 5th round selection in the 2024 NFL Draft.[2]
