The 2022–23 Namibia Premier League is the 1st full season of the Namibia Premier Football League, the top-tier football league in Namibia. [2]
As this was the first season of this league no new clubs joined this season.
At the end of the season the Black Africa, Eleven Arrows and Citizens were relegated from the league, going down to the First division South league.
The teams coming into the league for the 2023-24 season are Khomas Nampol F.C. +2.

Controversy
On 8th May 2023 Sylvester ‘Lolo’ Goraseb executive member of Black Africa replied to a Facebook post by the Thru Pass Football magazine that “there will be no promotion or relegation” while sitting 3rd from the bottom of the league.[3]
