13 Minutes is a 2021 American disaster film written, directed and produced by Lindsay Gossling,[4] in her feature debut film, and starring Trace Adkins, Thora Birch, Peter Facinelli, Anne Heche, Amy Smart and Paz Vega.
Plot
In the town of Minninnewah, Oklahoma was known for its unpredictable weather, especially during storm season. But for a group of adrenaline junkies, that was exactly what they were looking for. Rick Esteridge, Tammy Hunt, Brad and Jess Hamilton, Peyton, Luke, Kim, and Ana were all storm chaser, always on the lookout for the next big tornado or cyclone. As the storm season approached, the group eagerly prepared their equipment and cameras, ready to capture the destructive power of mother nature. Tammy and Brad had been a team for years, as had Jess and Peyton. But on this particular day, fate would bring them all together.
Steve, a new member of the team, met Rick and Ana as they were heading out of town. They decided to join forces and chase the storm together. As they drove towards the dark sky, the winds started to pick up and a deafening siren could be heard in the distance. They knew it was time to take cover. In the chaos of the storm, Rick and Tammy found themselves faced with flooding and incredible pressure. Meanwhile, Brad and Jess, along with Carlos, followed Peyton, Luke, and Kim as they braved the destructive winds and rain. As they survived the destruction caused by the storms, they couldn't help but feel the rush of adrenaline. But amidst the chaos, a new danger emerged. Vicky and Daniel, two locals from Minninnewah, were stranded and trapped in the storm's path. With humanity arising, Rick and Tammy put their own safety aside and made it their mission to rescue Vicky and Daniel.
As the storm raged on, Rick and Jess came face to face with the full force of mother nature. With Rick leading the way, they fought against the winds and rain, determined to survive the ordeal. Meanwhile, Peyton, Luke, Kim, and Carlos were doing everything they could to help those affected by the storm. In a last-ditch effort, Ana sounded the sirens for safety and the entire team rushed towards the storm, knowing that they had to face it head-on. As they came together in the midst of the chaos, they felt a newfound sense of strength and hope that they could overcome the storm.
With the storm getting more intense by the minute, Brad and Jess found themselves separated from the rest of the group. They quickly realized that they needed to find a way to reunite with their fellow storm chasers. But as they made their way towards the designated meeting spot, they were met with another terrifying sight. Ana, the youngest of the group, was struggling to keep her truck under control as the wind and rain battered against her. Without hesitation, Brad ran to her aid, determined to bring her to safety. Tammy, who had successfully rescued Vicky and Daniel, saw the danger and made a daring attempt to rescue Brad and Ana.
The final scene shows Rick, Ana, Brad, and Jess as they emerged from the storm. They all looked battered and exhausted, but they couldn't help but smile as they saw the sun rising in the horizon. In that moment, they knew that they had made it through the worst of the storm and were safe. As they watched the sun rise, they were seen hugging each other, a sign of their unity and strength as a team. The storm may have brought destruction and chaos to Minninnewah, but it also brought this diverse group of storm chasers together. And as they stood there together, they knew that they had experienced something truly extraordinary and would never forget the bond that they had formed throughout their terrifying encounter with the storm.
