Measuring the area where you want your new holder to go, mark two lines 6.8" apart.

Measure an inch and a third (1 and 1/3") above the marks and mark these new spots where your screws will go.

Place the new screw inside the new bracket and line up the mark with the base of the screw.

Repeat this for the top and bottom screws on both the left and right bracket bases (4 times total).

I don’t like the spring loaded holders. When we moved into our new house two years ago, One of the spring loaded holders was too far apart. Another was two close so roll would not rotate. The other two were ok. I replaced 3 of the 4 with the single arm holder. No need to fiddle with spring loaded holders. Slip on and slip off. Did the same at our previous house. I now have 3 spring loaded holders that I will donate or throw away.
