Many people buy pairs of pant online only to find that the fitting is not right. Instead of throwing away your pair of pants, use this guide to tailor them using a sewing machine and common tailoring supplies.
This guide requires you to know your fitting size and measurements.

Flip the pairs of pants inside out.

Place your pants on a flat surface and flatten the pant leg.

Measure the width of the pant leg using a ruler or measuring tape.

Mark your fitting size on the pants using tailoring chalk.

Use a seam ripper to unseam the hem of your pants a little bit past your fitting line.

Make another marking from your fitting line, leaving half an inch of space in between the two.

Use a comma ruler to extend both of your markings up the length of the pants.

Cut along the lower line.

Sew your new seam along thefitting line.

As you get closer to the original seam, blend your new seam into the original.
