Set your gel blaster flat on a table.

Push the battery compartment release tab upwards.

Lift the battery cover and remove it.

Squeeze both the left and the right side of the release latch and pull apart the connector to remove the battery from the gel blaster's motor.

Use utility scissors to cut the first green layer of the battery.

Remove the first layer to expose the connection to the wire.

Using the soldering iron and the lead-free solder, re-solder the wire to the battery to ensure a stable connection.

Insert the battery back into the battery compartment.
