Introduction
This guide details how to replace worn-out electrical brushes from a Turbo Power 1500 Professional Blow Dryer Model No. 307 by Turbo Power Inc., Type 001 US-110-125. All you need are a couple new electrical brushes and a Phillips #1 screwdriver.
If you're noticing sparks or quick flashes of light when you use your blow dryer, or if it simply isn't working properly, there's a strong chance that the electrical brushes have reached the end of their lifespan. Use a Phillips #1 screwdriver to remove the two screws securing the dryer motor.

Remove the motor from its plastic housing.

Unscrew the small plastic cap on the side of the motor and lift out the spring.

Remove the carbon electrical brush.

Repeat for the cap on the other side of the motor.

Place the motor back into the housing.

Rotate the motor clockwise to screw it into place.

Refasten the two motor screws using a Phillips #1 screwdriver.
