Background and Identification
The 2nd generation iPad was released on March 11th of 2011. It had notable upgrades from the 1st generation iPad, including a lighter structure and faster processor. Additionally, the 1st generation iPad didn’t have any cameras, but the 2nd generation model included both a front and rear-facing camera.
The 2nd generation iPad was praised for being faster, sporting a thinner structure, and having cameras. On the other hand, it was criticized for having the same screen resolution as the 1st generation iPad, lacking Adobe Flash support, and not having useful ports.
The 2nd generation iPad is a thin, rectangular tablet. It features a touchscreen housed in an encasing. There is a home button and physical controls on the side of the device.
