Sony SRS-XE200

The Sony SRS-XE200 is a bluetooth, tower-style portable speaker. The SRS-XE200 was released in July 2022 as a part of the X-series line of speakers with the SRS-XE300 and the SRS-XG300. Measuring 42 x 51 mm, the speaker features Sony's X-Balanced technology, which is intended to improve sound quality and reduce distortion.

The SRS-XE200, along with its counterparts, was released with a Line-Shape Diffuser design, which helps to evenly distribute sound across a 180-degree surface area in front of the speaker.

Additionally, the SRS-XE200 comes with the Party Connect feature which allows up to 100 compatible speakers to connect and synchronize their audio output. It also comes with a retractable handle for easy portability of the 800 gram(1.76 pounds) speaker, and it has received an IP67 rating. This means that it has complete protection against dust and other airborne particles, as well as being able to withstand submersion of water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.

Overall, the SRS-XE200 is still a relatively new device with limited information. It has received generally positive consumer reviews, however some users have reported issues with battery life and connectivity.

This model of Sony speaker is identified by the Sony logo design on the bottom left of the front side of the speaker. The logo is located to the left of the button panel. This speaker is unique compared to similar models in that it is smaller, cylindrical, and has a wrist strap to make it more portable. It does not have the model number, SRS-XE200, displayed on the speaker, but it is written on the original box.
