Background and Identification

The Sony Alpha 5100 (Model Number: ILCE-5100 / ILCE-5100L) was released to the public in April 2014 as an alternative for the Alpha a6000. The model number is located on the bottom of the camera. It has an APS-C sensor which is Sony’s best sensor, and has autofocus technology.

The Alpha 5100 has compatibility with different lenses, which makes it easy to use this camera in different situations. It is very lightweight, and fairly compact which makes it easy to take on the go.
