Background

The Polaroid I-2 was released September 7th, 2023 and features a three-element autofocusing lens, lidar sensor, and manual settings to distinguish it as a high-end analog instant camera.

Building off its predecessor, the Polaroid Now+, the Polaroid I-2 offers built-in control settings that allow it to function both with and without the Polaroid mobile app. This focus on fine-tuning within the device itself lends itself to a modern, high-quality take on a nostalgic experience.

Identification

You can identify the Polaroid I-2 by flipping it over and checking the sticker surrounding the tripod mount. It will predominantly say "Polaroid I-2" followed by a lovely quote from Edwin Land.

Block Image

If your sticker is scratched off or destroyed, you can also identify the Polaroid I-2 by its adjustable focus ring around the lens or its small LCD display on the top of the frame. The Polaroid I-2 is only sold in black (at least at the time of its release).
