Background and Identification

The Matsunichi M97 was released in early 2015 as an affordable alternative to the iPad and Samsung tablets so users could get an entry level tablet without dropping too much money into a new device. Much of the support for the device has been removed by the manufacturer. Its simplistic design was part of the reason it was so affordable to consumers, having a minimal amount of parts and an easy-to-use design. The device features a 9.7 inch glass screen with a plastic backing and silver colored plastic trim on both sides of the screen.
