Background Info and Identification
The Magellan RoadMate 5236T-LM was released after the 5235 in May 2013 as a part of the Magellan United States RoadMate family.
Like all versions of the Magellan RoadMate family it comes with a protective soft pouch to protect it from scratches. The 5236T-LM is a sleek all black GPS with the Magellan logo just under the screen. It comes equipped with lifetime map updates as well as a plastic car holder and USB charger/cable. This version also comes with landmark guidance allowing the user to use up to 10 different landmarks to make it more innate.
It was later replaced by the Magellan RoadMate 5245T-LM, released in January 2014, which came with traffic camera alerts and a landscape/portrait view.
