Background and Identification
The Lenovo Y700-14ISK is a 14 inch gaming computer that was manufactured by Lenovo, although it has since been discontinued. It was part of the IdeaPad Y series, which was a line of premium laptops marketed for their high performance and good specifications meant for gaming and multimedia. The Y700 was released in 2015. As gaming laptops go, this one is not particularly large. Most gaming laptops have at least a 14 inch diagonal screen measurement, although they are commonly found as large as 17 inches. Despite the smaller size of this laptop, it has a powerful processor for the time it was released. It also uses thermal cooling, which is considered essential for gaming laptops, since overheating issues due to high demands on the computer can cause damage to the internal parts of the laptop.
