Background

The Lenovo y70-70 Touch was released on July 15th 2014. It had a CPU of 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7-4710HQ (quad-core 6mb cache). The graphics were ran off Nvidia GeForce GTX 860M (4GB GDDR5RAM). It had a 16GB DDR3L RAM as well as a 1TB hybrid (5400 RPM) storage plus 8GB SSD. The screen was 17.3-inch, 1920 x 1080 Full High Definition multi-touch screen. There is two 3.0 USB ports, one 2.0 USB port, a mic/headphone jack, HDMI-output, 4-in-1 card reader, Ethernet port, and SPDIF. Connectivity was capable through Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160, Ethernet port, and Bluetooth 4.0. Overall device was 16.64 x 11.44 x 1.02 inches while Aluminum crafted weight was 7.5 pounds.

While this device has no recalls, the major disadvantage(s) are battery life, crowded keys and lacking power making it an entry-level gaming laptop.

Identification

While there are other models created by Lenovo, this 17.3 inch with a touchscreen display causes it to stand out from the rest. Like other models, it comes in a cross brushed, black aluminum exterior with red backlit keys. It doesn’t offer 4k resolution like some of the smaller models. The model number can be found printed on the bottom case.
