Background

The device was manufactured by the LG company and launched in May 2015 in the United States on the Verizon network. It runs an Android OS, has an 8.3 in. full HD display, and is equipped with front- and rear-facing cameras capable of recording in 1080p, as well as 16 GB of internal storage.

It can be used with LTE for calling and texting or strictly as a Wi-Fi device. Although it is no longer being produced, refurbished units can sometimes be bought on sites such as Amazon or eBay.

Common device issues and malfunctions can include the following: speakers sound too quiet or produce poor quality sound, the battery does not retain charge or drains too fast, photos taken are poor quality, SD card loses connection, or the screen is frozen or unresponsive.

Identification

It can be recognized by its stylized dark grey metal back panel and the useful combo of a stylus, full-size USB port, micro-USB port, and microSD card slot.
