Identification and Background
This instant camera is one of Fujifilm's most recent releases (October 2013) in the Instax Mini family. It maintains the same look and feel as many of their older cameras, but is equipped with lots of new features, which is why it is often referred to as the Neo Classic. It can be distinguished from its predecessor, the Instax Mini 8, by its smaller size, more angular shape, and by the fact that it has two shutter buttons (one on top and one on the front) instead of just one on the front. There are 5 shooting modes for all sorts of environments: full auto, landscape, kids, double exposure, and party. It also has 3 exposure modes -- program, bulb, and automatic -- and its exposure range is from 1/400 sec to 1.8 sec.
This camera makes customization easier for the photographer, because many camera options that once required extra attachments are now accessible with the push of a button. Even with all the innovation that went into this camera, it still manages to be very compact, and its lithium ion battery lasts through ten packs of film on a full charge. The camera is also equipped with an automatic power off function that prevents the battery from being accidentally drained.
