Background Information

The Insignia NS-B4111 was released in 2009. It has an all black exterior and measures 11.2 x 5.8 x 10.6 cubic inches. The device can be powered with a cord or eight alkaline C batteries. Its front panel has a four-digit backlit LCD digital display with ten grey buttons. The back has an auxiliary stereo line input jack. Its tuning dial, power switch, function switch, and volume dial are on the sides. The handle folds down into the top of the device. The device can play CDs with CD, CD-R, and CD-RW formats and includes an AM/FM radio.

At least two revisions of NS-B4111 exist. Earliest units are without headphone output. A model revision (at 2010 or early 2011) features stereo headphone jack, located on rear between line-in jack and AC power inlet (IEC C2 polarised).
