Spray Holder Does Not Function
The device will not compress the fragrance spray canister.
Battery Terminals Are Faulty
The battery terminals can become corroded, or a wire can come disconnected to cause the power to be gone. First check the batteries to ensure they are still good. Then check for corrosion; the terminals will have decolorization and substance on terminals. Last, look for any wires that might be loose or unattached.

Plastic Gears Are Broken or Melted
Plastic gears are easily broken or melted from the continuous use. Pull each gear to check for breaks or meltdowns on the main wheel or with the teeth. Make certain to check every gear. Plastic gear replacements are readily available in variety packs online or at any hobby store.

Circuit Boards Can Be Malfunctioning or Wire Issues
Circuit board relays the power to the motor. This device has 2 boards. Check both boards for wires that maybe loose or disconnected. Then check the boards for any burned marks. Burnt board will cause a malfunction. If so, then the board will have to replaced.
Motor Does Not Run
Sometimes the motor becomes week and stops working. The mini motors are easy to replace. Once the elimination of the other troubleshooting hacks is not the issue, then this leaves the motor. The motors can be purchased online or at hobby stores.
