Avenger

"Avenger! The boldest jet fighter ever to roam the skies. It's Electra Game new single-player video combat game. You're in the lifelike cockpit of this sleeck, black attack plane surrounded by the realistic instrumental panel. Suddenly a "bandit" aircraft lurking behind a cloud bursts into the open, intent on ramming you head on. You line up the enemy in your sights. You fire your cannon and watch him litteraly explode in the air. You've won this one - but watch out, there's another and another. Avenger, it's competitive. It's terrific!"

You can accelerate by using the "afterburner" switch, and thus get higher score.

Avenger may be the first shoot'em up with vertical scrolling. To be confirmed.
