Saucer Attack
also known as Envahisseurs

"Attention please!! Invader saucers are approaching. Station No. 1, Station No. 1 be ready to fight back. Yes Sir! Ready, fire!... Ready, fire! To your left, ready, fire! To your right, ready, fire!"

Saucer Attack is a simple clone of arcade hit Space Invaders, adapted to the limited features of the SD-2xx systems.

It's also the proof that SD-2xx systems and the Epoch Cassette Vision are somehow related. Indeed Saucer Attack and Batlle Vader (Space Invaders clone for the Cassette Vision) are VERY similar. Same exact blocky graphics, score placement, trick of color shields to reduce number of sprites...

Yes, indeed, this game only display a maximum 8 invaders at the same time, and you must shoot each of them several times to destroy it. Their colored shell go from yellow -> magenta -> red -> green cyan -> green -> blue. Blue invaders can be definately desroyed.

 SOFTWARE RELATIONS:

Saucer Attack was inspired by Space Invaders (*multiple ports*)
Saucer Attack is related to Battle Vader (Epoch Cassette Vision)
