The high alpine meadows and tundra of Kluane National Park Reserve support a roll call of northern wildlife unsurpassed in grandeur and diversity. Perhaps a hundred black bears live in the forests, giving way in encounters to the more than 250 grizzlies that roam—and rule—the Kluane backcountry.
