Decorated with a painting of John F. Kennedy and eclectic knick-knacks, YJ's Snack Bar in the Crossroads Arts District is frequented by Kansas City's most colorful locals. "Expect to see post-hippies, armchair philosophers, and the occasional passerby lounging on multicolored metal chairs resembling the ones you sat on in high school, complete with bookracks below the seats," said photographer Brooks Walker.
