Weather Door for BBBS

This weather script uses curl to get the weather info, and
head to trim the information to a size showing just the
current weather and city name - the report curl generates
is actually a 3 day report, much to large for what I
wanted.
Curl and head should be available for Windows and other
OS's. Check this URL for curl:
https://curl.haxx.se/download.html for your OS.
Check http://unxutils.sourceforge.net/ for GNU's head (and
other utils converted for W32)
IIRC (and it's been a while ) both of these utils are
available under OS/2.

Notes: Compile with bzc getweather.
Right now, the string variable cc which is the city
you enter at the prompt is written to disk in the
bbbs directory, in quotes (for example, "Ithaca".
The last two lines were my initial attempts to
remove the city name file, cc. This doesn't work yet.
:)
Also, I'm intending to parse the city name to remove the
spaces, such as "New York", but haven't done that yet.
Hence, the instructions at the top to either enclose
names with spaces in double quotes, or use an underscore
between the two words.
To add this as a door in bbbs add this entry to your
/scripts/opendoor.bz and then run bzc opendoor.bz.
Needless to say, you may have more or less doors
installed :)

when there is a sparsity of articles for the 'zine. I'd
MUCH rather you sent in material... lacking that, I will
fill these issues with my meanderings and thoughts and
hopefully we will grow into something of consequence here
:)

and mutilate it further as you can see above. Linux is nice
that way (g). Spell checking your own work will help though
