The FileGate had quite a day yesterday if you didn't notice.
Sadly, the ODDBALL FDN Coordinator was having problems with his
ALLFIX install.. and sent my system duplicate files at least
three times. The first time slipped right past me (as I
sweltered in the heat here in NY).. I noticed the second time
since I saw a number of bad files in my inbound directory.. I
contacted the coordinator,'Rob' Starr, and asked him to take a
look..
By the third time I was more than a little p'o'd since it looked
like so many of them had gotten through - I'm not sure about
that and it was insane trying to look at the log here since so
many darn files had gotten sent out. Hopefully your system was
not inundated with the file dump.
Dupe detection is turned on here for files and normally it works
quite well. BBBS's filedup list though can't catch files that
are so old as to not be in the list of files hatched though...
and that is what I think happened.
Here's the discussion I had with R. Starr:
JK:You duped all those files again?? What a PITA!
RS:allfix did, I think maybe 5 to 10
the rest I got (deleted)

Why Women Make Better Assassins
The CIA had an opening for an assassin. After all the
background checks, interviews and testing were done, there were
three finalists: two men and a woman.
For the final test, the CIA agents took one of the men to a
large metal door and handed him a gun.
"We must know that you will follow your instructions no
matter what the circumstances. Inside the room you will find
your wife sitting in a chair. Kill her."
The man said "You can't be serious. I could never shoot my
wife".
The agent said, "Then you are not the right man for this job.
Take your wife and go home".
The second man was given the same instructions. He took the
gun and went into the room. All was quiet for about five
minutes. The man came out with tears in his eyes, "I tried, but
I can't kill my wife."
The agent said, "You don't have what it takes, so take your
wife and go home "
Finally, it was the woman's turn. She was given the same
instructions to kill her husband. She took the gun and went
into the room. Shots were heard one after another. They heard
screaming, crashing, and banging on the walls. After a few
minutes, all was quiet. The door opened slowly and there stood
the woman, wiping sweat from her brow. "The gun was loaded with
blanks" she said. "I had to kill him with the chair."

MUCH rather you sent in material... lacking that, I will
fill these issues with my meanderings and thoughts and
hopefully we will grow into something of consequence here

and mutilate it further as you can see above. Linux is nice
that way (g). Spell checking your own work will help though
(something I'm typically guilty of (g)).
