QEMU is an emulator and virtualization machine that allows you
to run a complete operating system as just another task on your
desktop. It can be very useful for trying out different
operating systems, testing software, and running applications
that won't run on your desktop's native platform.
QEMU runs on x86 systems running Linux, Microsoft Windows, and
some UNIX platforms, and can host target systems from a range of
different microprocessors as detailed on the QEMU website.
QEMU has the advantage of being able to run either as a pure
emulator or as a native virtual machine (on x86 / x86-64
hardware).

C O O K I N G: Even SysOps have to Eat

Almond Butter
Creating almond butter to use a spread is easy.
Preheat oven to 375F
Ingredients:
2 cups Almonds
Sea Salt
[optional] Agave, coconut oil, maple syrup, or honey
Directions:
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the almonds on
the parchment paper. Roast at 375F for 6-8 minutes or until a
slightly darker brown. Cool slightly, then grind in a food
processor 12-15 minutes. Push down any almond butter that
accumulates on the sides of the processor . Continue until
thick and creamy.
Sprinkle in a pinch of sea salt and blend briefly.
For a different flavor try adding maple syrup, coconut oil,
agave, or honey, and mix well. Store unflavored almond butter
in an airtight plastic container or mason jar with lid for 6
weeks. If you flavor the almond butter with the optional
ingredients you can store it for 1-2 weeks.

when there is a sparsity of articles for the 'zine. I'd
MUCH rather you sent in material... lacking that, I will
fill these issues with my meanderings and thoughts and
hopefully we will grow into something of consequence here
:)
