E D I T O R I A L

Our very own FTSC chair, Michiel van der Vlist, popped into the
FIDO_SYSOP echo recently, announced an election for moderator
and appointed himself election coordinator. Following along
with Michiel were Ward Dossche, Bjorn Felten and David Drummond.
Birds of a feather?
Meanwhile the Moderator of Record of FIDO_SYSOP, Vince Coen
hasn't called for _any_ election. Vince was just elected some 4
months ago, so why would he...
Vince has stated he will follow the rules however and will hold
an election in 2017. I guess that's not good enough for the
likes of Bjorn Felten, Ward Dossche, Dave Drummond and Michiel
van der Vlist.. They want it done NOW Goddammit... :)
It doesn't work that way bud :) A year is a year is a year, and
the echo participants know what is going on. Ward, Bjorn, David
and Michiel can go on and on, but no matter what they do, Vince
Coen is the Moderator of Record. Vince will call an election
when the time is right :)

Unlike most editors, I surely do not mind running my mouth
when there is a sparsity of articles for the 'zine. I'd
MUCH rather you sent in material... lacking that, I will
fill these issues with my meanderings and thoughts and
hopefully we will grow into something of consequence here
:)
Write an article!
If you WOULD like to submit an article, feel free to drop

If you are using routed Fidonet mail, don't send articles as routed
attaches. They will fail somewhere along the path before getting here.
Send them instead direct to filegate.net.
Give it a title, sign your name and network address if you have

Don't worry about the format, I can take anything you send me
and mutilate it further as you can see above. Linux is nice
that way (g). Spell checking your own work will help though
(something I'm typically guilty of (g)).
