Everyone knows famous sportsmen. We are happy when they are winners and not satisfied when they lose the competition. But we never think about money they earn. However some people assert that they should earn less money for their work.
Some people are sure that professional sportsmen should get money they deserve. The major argument is the fact that they have to work many years for their success. What is more, they have to work out every day to keep themselves in good condition. The another advantage is that a lot of sportsmen support charity organizations as well as help talented young people exploring their sport skills. This can promote the best professionals.
However there are some opponents, who don’t agree with quantity of money the sportsmen earn. They are sure that they have enough money and prizes for the winning competitions, for live on a high level. People are frustrated that sportsmen have their money from the public budget, so everybody, have to pay for them, even when they are an ex-sportsmen already. Besides, some people might prefer to invest into a new generation of people talented in sport than pay for those, who are no longer in a good condition and should go on retire.
All things considered, introducing argument for and against gain of sportsmen we also have to think about the consequences. One can only hope that those who want to change these rules will take both sides of the argument into account.
