In my opinion nowadays life is more dynamic and variable. It goes on more swiftly. In consequence people are surrounded with many stressful factors and suffer from too much pressure. In turns of my case, school and rasps in my family are very high on the list of these factors. I try to cope with stress by doing pleasant and relaxing activities because they have calming effect and they let me forget about all my problems. I think that doing things that I like is the best way to get rid of stress. I usually listen to music, read books (fantasy are my favourite) or play computer games when something gets on my nerves. When I am really irritated I listen to loud music, which makes me able to let off steam. Sometimes I like cooking. My speciality is spaghetti a la Bolognese. I suppose that pastime may be a good tranquillizer. Especially sport lets me vent my anger so I go to a fitness club and I ride bike.
Another point is that going on cycling trips to a forest or generally spending time in the open is very relaxing. When I’m riding, cooking or doing one of the things I’ve mentioned I have to focus my attention on it and I’m going into some kind of trance. It makes me forget about rest of the world. I think that friends and close people are very helpful to rest from nervousness as well. When I’m meeting with my girlfriend I feel very self-confident, safe and I stop being anxious. I feel like in Heaven. I guess there is no need to explain why. Of course meeting with friends and having beer is one of the best ways to recover from stress.
