1. Description of the class:
- level: intermediate,
- students the ages 18, 11 women, 7 men,
- the classes take place from 10.45 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. on Mondays, from 11.35 a.m. to 12.20 a.m. on Wednesdays and from 8.00 a.m. to 8. 45 a.m on Thursdays,
- The students are generaly enthusiastic, byu often tired: concentration sometimes suffers as a result. They have completed approximately 200 hours of English

2. Aims: Students know construction of for and against essay, they know what each paragraph should consist, students are able to prove their arguments and know how to use linking words.

3. Resources/Materials: copies with text consisting proper linking words, dictionaries, students’ book.

4. Methods: the mixture of the Silent Way, Community Language Learning, Grammar Translation Method

6 Activities and procedures
- Greeting students,
- Checking the list of students,
- Giving lesson’s topic,
- Students study text where they have to find linking words, and after that they have to write other examples of sentences with these words,
- Students discus given text, they analysis each paragraph,
- Students read an essey “For and against of using the Internet”, they acquaint themselves with the structure of this kind of essey,
- Students work in groups (brain storm) and try to find for and against argument about people and dogs’ friendship, each group write results on the blackboard,
- Students try to write an introduction and a conclusion of this essey with teacher’s help,
- Students are asked to write at home for and against essay ( about 150 words ) – dogs are our best friends, they have to use arguments written during lesson.

7. Feedback: Some students from working groups may not take part in discussion, do not talk about their own opinion, teacher should check if everyone is active participant of the lesson.
