Usage notes

Geiriadur yr Academi promotes söolegwr and söolegydd as Welsh terms for zoologist, marking “swolegwr etc.” as “less correct”.[2] However, swolegydd is the preferred term of Y Termiadur Addysg, sponsored by the Welsh government as a source of standardised terminology for use in Welsh-medium education.[1]
