superne
Italian
Latin
Etymology 1
From super with an uncertain second element which has been theorized to be a fossilized Proto-Indo-European ablative suffix *-neh₁, related to Proto-Germanic *-nē (cf. *-anē, *fanē) and Sanskrit *-nā as found in e.g. विना (vinā). (Can this(+) etymology be sourced?)
However, compare also the suffix in pōne (< *post-ne).
